Kia ora whanau
My grandmother was Maraea Johnson, her son (my father) was Arthur (Ardie) Roberts. I have been to Parawhenua Marae twice (for tangi). Although these visits were obviously of a sad nature, I have always felt a sense of comfort and wellbeing there. Perhaps a sense of welcome from my tupuna of old. Kia ora koutou.

Admin reply: Kia ora Peter
Its a really great place. I am privileged to have been born there. Thats why I honoured it with this website.
